I have been an Occupational Therapist for 20 years.  I completed my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto.  I have worked with clients in the hospital, coordinated their care via the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC)/LHIN, then assessed and treated them at home via CCAC/LHIN, Insurance Companies, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and Lawyers.  Due to my experience, I understand how the numerous health care systems interact with each other.  In addition to in-home assessments, I can assess for accident benefits, attendant care, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, seats/cushions/backrests, walkers, and future care needs.
